I made the switch to O2

I finally bit the bullet and switched to O2

Having been a Vodafone customer for 10 years I decided to look into the O2 iPhone tariff. I have a business tariff and O2 up until the 3G iPhone didn’t offer this package.

I took a trip to the O2 store (only O2 stores can do business tariffs) and got their SMB package for £36 per month + VAT. This gets me 700 minutes talk time, 450 texts, unlimited internet, access to the cloud and BT openzone wifi hotspots, all calls to O2 mobiles are free, and also 10 registered land line numbers can be called for free. What a package for that price !

Vodafone were nearly double that for much less of a package.

Only downside is that the O2 signal isn’t as strong as Vodafone (but I can put up with that and it can only get better) and their 3G coverage isn’t that good at the moment either.

12 million iPhones sold

The v1 iPhone took one year to sell 6 million units.

The 3g iPhone has sold 6 million units in under 2 months !

Apples manufacturers are now building 150,000 iPhones per day to meet demand.

Wall•E

Went to see Wall•E in the week.

Love the bit when he recharges his batteries and then plays the G5 startup sound Happy

New iPod Nano ?

Is this the new iPod Nano ?

Rumour has is that Apple will refresh the entire iPod line-up and also some significant price drops.

A new version of iTunes is also rumoured (v8)

This should happen in 2-3 weeks time.
