Not much to report apart from...

iPhone update.
The UK iPhone is still proving to be quite a challenge to the hacking community. So far the iPhone can be activated and turned into an expensive iPod Touch, with all features working apart from being able to use your own SIM card.
They are making progress, but I don't think this will be ready for quite a few weeks yet. Sit tight, it will happen.
However, there is a method that does work and involves something called a TurboSim. This is a sim card tray with some clever circuitry on it and requires that you cut out all the gold strips on your SIM card and transplant them to the TurboSim, then it will work. However the TurboSim is around £80 and requires you butchering your SIM card.
Think I'll wait thank you
What's in store for the coming year ? Who knows ! Rumours of a new super slim Macbook without an internal optical drive and hard disk drive. Instead it will use flash memory, probably around 64gb worth. This will mean no moving parts at all in the machine, faster disk access times, faster bootup, and longer battery life.
Stay tuned for a rumoured January announcement.
